Trinidad

Trinidad cigars are among the most exclusive cigars in Cuba. They were produced in the El Laguito factory in Havana from 1969 and were given as gifts exclusively by Fidel Castro to official state visitors, foreign diplomats or well-known personalities from the art world until the end of 1998.

Trinidad cigars have only been available to the public since 1999. Originally there was only one size, but since 2003 several formats have been available. The special thing about these formats is that they are used exclusively for Trinidad cigars. The cigar takes its name from the town of La Santísima Trinidad (The Holy Trinity), which was built in the 16th century and is located on the south coast of Cuba. It has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
