Production and origin

The tobaccos come exclusively from the renowned Vuelta Abajo region in Pinar del Río, Cuba’s most important growing area. Only the best leaves from the 2017 harvest (Cosecha 2017) were used for this special edition, which were then carefully aged for at least five years .
Only then were they rolled into the iconic Espléndidos in the legendary El Laguito factory .

Format and enjoyment

The Espléndidos is considered one of the most prestigious vitolas of the Cohiba brand. With a length of 178 mm and a ring gauge of 47, it is one of the classics among Cuban long-fillers.
As it smokes, it offers a complex aromatic profile with notes of cedarwood, cocoa, coffee, leather, and delicate spices. The exceptional aging period gives it an incredible smoothness and depth reserved only for the finest Havanas.
