Cohiba BHK 58 – Single cigar

Habanos SA is considering to expand its ultra-premium line Cohiba Behike as it approaches an important milestone – the 15th anniversary of the Behike line in 2025. This potential expansion would introduce a fourth size to the Cohiba Behike line, tentatively named the BHK 58, which has a ring gauge (cepo) of 58 (23.02mm) and a length of 178mm. As the name suggests, the BHK 58 would have the largest ring gauge in the Behike range. If launched, it would also be the largest cigar in Habanos SA’s entire Cuban cigar portfolio.
However, it is interesting to note that this is not the first time Habanos SA has explored the idea of a BHK 58. A similar plan was considered back in 2020 when the Cohiba Behike line celebrated its 10th anniversary. At that time, prototypes were distributed to cigar retailers as part of a marketing workshop in Havana in June 2019.
However, the project was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated production disruptions in Cuba.
