Cohiba Maduro 5 Genios

The Cohiba Maduro 5 Genios is undoubtedly a Cuban masterpiece that amazes aficionados. Flawless in appearance, it delights with a diverse range of flavors, an even burn and dense smoke. This impressive cigar in the Geniales format, with a ring gauge of 52 and a length of 140 mm, offers around an hour of smoking pleasure and is particularly appreciated by connoisseurs for its strength.

Even before lighting, its aroma seduces with fine chocolate notes that carry through into the smoke. Roasted aromas are present right from the start, accompanied by sweet wood and the typical Cuban terroir. A pleasant spiciness runs through the entire smoke, while subtle notes of moss complement the woody aromas. The smoke is consistently dense, creamy and sweet.

The appearance of the Genios already hints at its significance. Thanks to the mature Maduro wrapper, it presents itself in a deep, dark brown. The finish is visually almost flawless, and the iconic band makes the hearts of cigar lovers beat faster. The Maduro range has been on the market since 2007 and continues Cuba's original cigar tradition, whose strong flavor comes from special fermentation steps of the tobacco.

The Maduro 5 line from the renowned house of Cohiba comprises three formats: Genios, Mágicos and Secretos. Each of these cigars is wrapped in a wrapper leaf aged for five years, and only selected Cuban tobaccos are used in their production.
