Partagás
since 1845
Partagás goes back to Don Jaime Partagás, who founded his own cigar factory in Havana in 1845. For a long time it stood at 520 Calle Industria, behind the Capitolio, and became one of the city's best-known factories. Production has since moved: Habanos S.A. now gives 806 Calle San Carlos as its address. The same factory also makes the cigars of Bolívar.

Habanos rates Partagás as strong; its cigars are known for an intense, full flavour. Every size is made totally by hand with tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo. Among its best-known vitolas is the Serie D No. 4, a robusto, which also appeared as a Reserva in 2005. The Serie P No. 2, a pirámide, appeared in 2005 and the Serie E No. 2 in 2011. The Lusitanias, a double corona, was released in 2013 as a Gran Reserva Cosecha 2007, and the Línea Maduro has existed since 2015.
Smoke carries the Lusitanias Gran Reserva Cosecha 2007, the Serie E No. 2 Gran Reserva Cosecha 2015, the Serie P No. 2 from the 2012 vintage, the three sizes of the Línea Maestra – Origen, Rito and Maestro – and special releases such as the Salomones from the 155th anniversary humidor and the Cedros for the Year of the Snake.
