Description
Origen is the slimmest of the three formats of the Partagas Linea Maestra. Under the factory name Bondadosos the cigar measures 154 mm with a ring gauge of 46. The name refers to the origin of the Habano, to which Habanos S.A. dedicates the Linea Maestra among other things.
At the Habanos Festival 2023, Habanos S.A. presented the new Partagas Linea Maestra. Dressed in an unusual yet elegant blue, this exclusive line adds a premium series to the Partagas range.
All three new formats in this series have a slightly rounded head, a feature not currently found in any other Habanos range. The first impression is surprisingly mild for a Partagas blend, with a creamy smoke.
The Partagas Linea Maestra tobaccos undergo a special fermentation process, similar to Cohiba tobaccos, which go through several fermentation cycles. The sweetness of these tobaccos is significantly influenced by their position on the plant, at the border between seco and ligero. In contrast, volado tobacco, which grows further down the plant, tends to taste bitter.
The three formats of the Linea Maestra cover ring gauges from 46 to 56. They are new vitolas, identified by the factory names Deleites, Bondadosos and Gustosos.
Each box of the Linea Maestra contains 20 cigars, and the Partagas factory describes the line as a special edition. According to Habanos S.A., the Linea Maestra pays tribute to the unique origin, inherited knowledge and tradition of the Habano that make it a ritual pleasure, and to the masters who make these cigars.
The three formats differ in length and ring gauge, and therefore in smoking time.
