Partagás Serie E No. 2 Gran Reserva Cosecha 2015

Habanos' Reserva line is known for releasing classics made from specially aged tobaccos. Now the Partagas Serie E No.2 is being presented as a Gran Reserva – a still young format made with tobacco from the 2015 harvest.

The Partagas Serie E No.2 Gran Reserva Cosecha 2015 represents Cuban cigar craftsmanship at the highest level. The result of an exceptional harvest year, it combines tradition and prestige.

The tobacco, grown on the fertile soils of Pinar del Río, comes from the most renowned plantations in Cuba. Carefully matured since 2015, the leaves have gained in character and complexity.

The Duke format quickly rose to the top of Partagas' sales list. It sits comfortably in the hand and, thanks to its length of 140 mm and generous ring gauge of 54, brings out the Partagas blend particularly well. Habanos S.A. took this as the occasion to create a Gran Reserva edition specifically for this format. The cigars are made with particularly carefully matured tobacco.

Naturally, only the most experienced rollers in the factories are selected to make these cigars from the finest tobacco leaves. Each Gran Reserva edition is limited to 5,000 boxes of 15 cigars worldwide. The filler, binder and wrapper of the Gran Reservas use only tobaccos from the most renowned plantation in the Pinar del Río region, aged for at least five years.

The Spanish word "Cosecha" means "harvest" and refers to the year in which the tobacco leaves were harvested. Cigars in this category carry a black and gold band reading "Gran Reserva". The high-gloss black lacquered boxes underline their refined appearance.
