The Montecristo 80 Aniversario Edición Limitada 2016 was created to mark the 80th anniversary of the Montecristo brand. This limited special edition is aimed at aficionados and collectors looking for a rare Montecristo.
Limited anniversary edition from Cuba
For the Edición Limitada 2016, Habanos S.A. used only tobaccos from the famous Vuelta Abajo region in Pinar del Río – all hand-selected and aged for at least two years before being rolled by hand by the best torcedores in the traditional way.
The format (6½ inches long, ring gauge 55) was created specifically for this anniversary edition. Alongside the classic Montecristo band, each cigar carries a second "80 Aniversario" band and comes in a numbered lacquered box of 20 cigars.
