in spring 2019, the 50th anniversary of the brand
Trinidad
of Cuba was celebrated. To celebrate this milestone, Cuba presented the brand with three new formats: Media Luna, Topes and Esmeralda. Habanos presented a series of novelties, including the new volume of the Colección Habanos: Trinidad Casilda.

Since 2002, Habanos S.A. has been launching an extraordinary, impressively large cigar format in a book-shaped box every year. The series bears the name “Colección Habanos” and is aimed specifically at collectors of fine Habanos treasures.

The book Trinidad Casilda was produced in an edition of only 3,000 copies for the whole world. Each of these collector’s items contains 24 “Casilda” (53 x 185 mm), a generously sized vitola produced by Habanos S.A. was created especially for this occasion. The name was chosen to honor the village of Casilda, the seaport of the city of Trinidad in the province of Sancti Spíritus.

Each Trinidad Casilda is made entirely by hand with the greatest care from leaves from Vuelta Abajo, where the best tobacco in the world is harvested.
